Julia joined GGFL in 2001 as a Dalhousie University co-op student and received her CA designation in 2004. 

As a maritimer, Julia's friendly disposition not only helps her get to know her clients' businesses, but also their goals for the future.  She enjoys the year-round contact GGFL encourages with all their clients.  "It's nice to know how our clients are doing throughout the year, instead of asking them once a year about how well their business has done."

Julia is involved with research and development and professional development at GGFL.   "It's very rewarding to see your students or clients gain comprehension on the topic you are teaching."  She has also worked closely with other members of the firm to improve the electronic management of documents at GGFL and reduce the use of paper where possible.
