   Sharat Gupta Sharat Gupta came to GGFL in 1998, with over seven years of experience as a partner in a Chartered Accountant firm in India. In 2000, he left the firm to join the Ontario government, and spent more than eight years as a tax auditor for income tax and retail sales tax auditing, both independently and jointly with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Through CRA, Sharat gained first-hand experience in dealing with tax auditors by being one of them. Throughout this period, he also gained the technical knowledge and administrative experience necessary to deal with any audit. In 2008, Sharat rejoined GGFL as a Tax & Advisory Services Manager, and will pursue his Canadian CA designation to add to his CA professional designation from India. Sharat’s personal interests include golfing in the summer (which for him is from May to the first snowfall), and skiing in winter. He is also an avid squash player. We know that getting audited by taxation authorities can be very stressful; however, our management team can help reduce the stress by dealing with the audit in most efficient manner.
