GGFL Announces the Retirement of Partner Bruce Johnston

After 32 years of exemplary service to GGFL, it is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Partner Bruce Johnston.

Bruce’s drive for quality service and his keen eye for business and tax planning have been instrumental in the growth of his clients’ businesses and ours.

Following his promotion to Partner in 1987, Bruce established and continued to develop GGFL’s Tax Department. Having our depth of expertise in tax for a firm of our size has always been a contributing factor in the significant growth of the firm.

In addition to his professional involvement, Bruce has contributed his wealth of knowledge and experience on a volunteer basis as a member of the Canadian Association of Family Enterprises (CAFE), the Canadian Tax Foundation, and as a President of DFK Canada.

Bruce has diligently and thoughtfully introduced each of his clients to the new partners managing their accounts. We look forward to continuing to serve these clients with the same enthusiasm and commitment he would expect.

Everyone at GGFL wishes Bruce happy days following his well-earned retirement – days filled with bananas, chocolate, and fishing.
