As a firm, GGFL is committed to continuous improvements in all aspects of our work. Throughout June, we are taking the time to reflect and educate ourselves on how to continue to foster a truly respectful and inclusive workplace for the members of the 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
To build an environment where everyone can be their authentic selves, we have undertaken to:
- Carefully review all our client and internal communication and policies to ensure they are gender neutral
- Ask all staff to participate in an education program on gender identity and sexuality and their role in creating an inclusive organization for 2SLGBTQ+ team members
- Ensure preferred pronouns of our staff are shared internally and externally
- Provide a safe forum for staff to share their own personal stories
We are enormously grateful to all our staff who embraced this opportunity to listen and learn, and to the members of staff who openly shared their own experiences.
While June may be Pride Month, our efforts will always continue.
